Originally destroyed in 1991 during the war; today, rebuilt to provide a 3 minute trip to the top of Mount Srd where breathtaking views of the walled city await.
After the walk on the walls, I wasn't sure that Dubrovnik could get any prettier; I was wrong.
The beauty of the city shines from 415 meters below, complimented by the rolling green of Mount Srd and the beautiful blues of the Adriatic.
A trip to the top reveals multiple views of the Adriatic Sea and all it's various shades of blues, an altar, and Napoleon's Imperial Fortress.
Several platforms provide different aerial views of the walled city below and to the opposite side of the mountain.
All absolutely stunning.
We drank wine and watched the sun sink lower into the sea for over an hour.
