Growing Warmer.

The weather is growing colder in Kosovo.

The hot summer sauna that I entered into when I arrived in Prishtina has begun to disappear.

The early sunrise no longer wakens me by pouring her scorching rays into my bedroom windows.

The evening air calls for jackets and long pants and invites us to dine inside heated walls.

The changes embraced, I walk through my city, comforted by the hands I hold, to an apartment I now call home.
